A remote control mower is a type of powered vegetation management machine operated using a wireless remote controller. The operator can normally control functions such as forward and reverse movement, steering, speed, and cutting operation.

Different models are designed for different working conditions. Some machines are compact and suitable for landscaping and garden maintenance, while larger models are designed for tall grass, heavy weeds, slopes, and professional vegetation management.

The main advantage is flexibility. Instead of requiring the operator to remain directly on or next to the machine, remote operation allows the operator to stand at a suitable distance and monitor the mowing process.
